Message from the Headteacher

At Sacred Heart School, our approach to the curriculum is unique: with a strong focus upon Academics, Art, Music and a range of Sports. We have many visitors to school to make learning a 'real- life' experience for our children.  We are currently building and developing a 'forest school' for everyone in the school to enjoy . On Fridays, the children take part in enrichment activities; music, art and sport. We offer instrumental tuition taught by Mrs Rhodes and Mr Form.. Every year we welcome Sowerby Music where the children experience a live concert and take part in a music workshop.

 At Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Primary School, we foster creativity, enrich learning and find the best ways to inspire in our pupils a joy and commitment to learning that will last a lifetime.

We are very fortunate to be able to have small classes which enables us to provide personalised learning for all of our pupils.

We place Christ at the centre of everything we do as we provide an outstanding education for all of our pupils in a broad and balanced learning environment that promotes the uniqueness of the individual with regard to the formation of the whole person so that they may take an active part in the school and wider community.
